Traveling more than 700 meters on a suspension bridge may take more than one person forever, but the best thing is to relax and enjoy the views offered by the spectacular natural environment where it is located. The Sky Bridge 721 footbridge is named after its extension, 721 meters, and is located in the village of Dolní Morava, at the foot of the Králický Sněžník mountain, and offers excitement and adrenaline at 95 meters above the ground.

Its construction has taken two years, with a cost of about 8 million euros, according to some sources, it has been inaugurated just before summer and has put the small town of Dolní Morava, with just three hundred inhabitants, in the foreground of the world map. , located in the Czech region of Pardubice, in the northeast of the country, and known for its ski resort. The new suspension bridge unseats the Portuguese bridge of Arouca , which is 516 meters long, from first place on this podium.

How is and where is the Sky Bridge 721

The Sky Bridge 721 pedestrian bridge connects two ridges, more than a thousand meters above sea level, and crosses the impressive valley of the Mlýnické stream. It has six main support ropes and another sixty wind ropes, and each of the six main ropes offers a pull of 360 tons, which guarantees maximum safety. To live the experience you have to go to the Slaměnka mountain refuge and from there to the upper station of the Sněžník chairlift. Once there, the entrance is close.

The bridge route is one wayand ends at the hill of Chlum, on the other side of the valley. It is a simple walk with almost no difference in level, only ten meters from the beginning to the end, so it is suitable for all audiences. Of course, due to its width, pushchairs, wheelchairs or bicycles are not allowed. It is also not advisable to cross it if you suffer from vertigo, dizziness or discomfort related to height. Once on the other side of the valley, the activity continues on El Puente del Tiempo (Bridge of Time) , a new educational path. Keep in mind that the route has only one direction, it is not allowed to go back.

The experience must be combined with the ascent to the Sky Walk platform.

The experience can and must be completed with a climb to the Sky Walk, an extraordinary wooden platform in the form of a tower that rises 55 meters above the ground and has a slide over 100 meters long.

This Sky Bridge 721 opens every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is recommended to make the reservation online in advance. If not, you can also do it at the machines at the lower station of the Sněžník cable car or at the self-service kiosk at the entrance to the Sky Bridge 721. Pass times are approximate. The pass costs 14 euros, but if it is combined with the visit to the Sky Walk the price is 32.50 euros.

According to the Dolní Morava resort website, the Sky Bridge 721 experience lasts about two hours and may not be enabled on some days, for example if the winds exceed 130 km/h. When the weather conditions are favorable, up to a maximum of 500 visitors are admitted, who can be simultaneously in the entire circuit of the attraction.
