It must be recognized that some of us are not very demanding and we simply settle for filling our stomachs. The Skylodge Adventure Suites is a hotel made up of transparent polycarbonate capsules that cling to the side of a mountain 400 (odd) meters high . It opened in 2013.

If you’re not into heights and what fascinates you are the lowlands, go around the globe and head for the Indian Ocean, between the islets that make up Conrad Maldives Rangali Island – which belongs to the Hilton chain – where you’ll find the the world’s first underwater restaurant , 5 meters below the surface of the water . The Ithaa is its name. Means “mother of pearl” in the local Maldivian language. It’s like being inside an aquarium. It is a glass dome with panoramic views of 180 degrees .
It eats decently well: pasta stuffed with reef lobster with burrata and golden lemongrass, raw Bolivian wild chocolate, and kaffir lime panna cotta with coconut sorbet. But they can eat up to 12 people, so if you want a table, you have to reserve well in advance. Of course, you will have company such as sharks, parrot fish, turtles, lobsters, wonderful corals… Oh, and special mention to the delicious cocktails at the end of the evening.
Suspended on a coral rock, Zanzibar

It is called the Rock Restaurant and is located on a coral reef on Kijiweni beach in Pingwe , on the east coast of Zanzibar , facing Tanzania. It is surprisingly original. It has no loss. You will eat in the middle of an open turquoise sea. And you will eat well, nothing to write home about, but well.
The specialty is Italian pasta and seafood, especially barbecue (lobster, Norway lobster, fish, squid…). A sample of one of their dishes: special fish carpaccio with chili-lime-coconut sauce and pineapple flambé with local vanilla ice cream. But, as you will see, it is above all a visual feast . But beware, when the tide rises they will transport you in a small boat; and if it’s low, it’s time to do it on foot.

As it is The space is amazing (and more importantly, sustainable): It ‘s bamboo nests created at The Treepod Dining inside the Soneva Kiri Eco resort on Ko Kut Island in eastern Thailand, an hour’s flight from Bangkok.

Every year, when the temperature reaches -10º, they build the restaurant again with ice and snow and decorate it very nicely with candles and soft lights. Then in spring it always melts.
