1. Giola Lagoon, Thassos, Greece
Located on the Greek island of Thassos, in the heart of the Aegean Sea, this pleasant natural swimming pool is bathed in water warmer than that of the sea . Dug into the rocks, it offers an absolutely splendid setting for enjoying the sun and swimming in complete safety.

5. Krka National Park, Croatia
Along the Krka River, this superb national park covers almost 109 km² and is home to incredible waterfalls and several natural pools filled with limpid and clear waters . Beyond its natural wealth, this park also has several sites of interest such as traditional water mills, near the Skradin falls, and a monastery built on ancient Roman catacombs.
6. Moniz, Madeira, Portugal
The pretty little town of Porto Moniz is perched between the mountains and the sea in the northwest of the island of Madeira. It is home to several natural pools formed in the volcanic reefs , ideal for cooling off between two excursions on the “island of flowers”.
7. Kakadu National Park, Australia
This huge biodiverse nature reserve in the Northern Territory is home to nearly 2,000 plant and animal species, as well as Aboriginal artistic sites, waterfalls and superb natural pools. The park has also been listed as a World Heritage Site since 1981 .
8. Pamukkale, Turkey
Located in the west of Turkey, the city of Pamukkale is famous for its mineral-rich thermal waters and its incredible landscapes composed of petrified waterfalls and natural pools . Also home to several Greek temples and monuments, the site of Pamukkale has been listed by UNESCO since 1988.

Located on the north coast of the island of Milos, this beach presents a lunar landscape composed of white rocks that merge into the turquoise water of the sea. Very photogenic, it hides amazing geological formations in which to enjoy a nice swim!

The Band-e is a set of six lakes with sumptuous colors located in the heart of the Hindu Kush mountains. Located at an altitude of 2900 meters, this site is Afghanistan’s first national park and one of the most beautiful places in the country.
Located near the village of Dibab, in Oman, this natural swimming pool carved into the rock is nicknamed “the house of the devil”… It is accessed by a wide stone staircase in order to offer yourself a well-deserved break during an excursion in the desert.

Nestled in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the small island of Norfolk is home to many natural wonders including the incredible volcanic pools of Crystal Pool . Be careful though, they can be dangerous and it is advisable to go there with a guide!

The tropical beach of Cacimba do Padre is as difficult to access as it is superb. Located on the small island of Fernando De Noronha, off the city of Natal, it has pleasant small natural pools where you can enjoy calm and tranquil water that contrasts with the waves of the ocean.

La Maceta natural pool is located in the north of the island of El Hierro and is particularly popular with families who can enjoy a quieter and safer swim than in the ocean.
