The Eiffel Tower is not just a landmark of Paris, it is a symbol of love, beauty and luxury. It stands proud in the 7th arrondissement and can be admired from almost anywhere in the city. But imagine being greeted by an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower from your hotel room. That would certainly take your Paris vacation one step further and drive your Instagram followers crazy.

Outside of the peak holiday season, it’s actually easy to book hotels in Paris with views of the Eiffel Tower. With so many hotel options, we know how difficult it is to make a decision. So we combed through the reviews of our Tripadvisor community to find these gems: only high-rated hotels, no matter your budget.

1. Plaza Athenee Hotel

If you’ve seen Sex and the City , you’ll surely recognize the facade of the Plaza Athenee Hotel from the final season of the series. This ultra-luxury hotel on elegant Avenue Montaigne has hosted stars like Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. The hotel’s Signature Eiffel Suite is elegantly furnished in art deco style and offers stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, even from the privacy of the private marble bathroom.

“This is the best hotel in Paris, if not in all of France. The location is spectacular. The views of the Eiffel Tower are wonderful. The rooms are absolutely perfect. We love to stay in different places when we travel, but we will definitely stay here when we return to Paris. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. The best we have ever experienced. Incredible.”

2. Hotel San Regis

The Hotel San Regis is located in an old 19th century mansion. Each of its 42 rooms and suites is decorated with carefully selected works of art, but despite the splendor, you will feel at home. For guaranteed views of the Eiffel Tower, book the Terrace Junior Suite which comes with, you guessed it, a private terrace. All you need to complete the view is a bottle of champagne.

“I loved the design of this hotel, from the fabric walls to the spiral staircase and stained glass windows on each floor. Very convenient location a short walk from the Champs Elysees and less than a 30 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower in one direction and the Louvre in the other direction. The views of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony of the hotel room are beautiful; the balcony is the perfect place to sit and have breakfast.”

3. Shangri-La Hotel Paris

If the Shangri-La Hotel Paris oozes royalty, it’s for good reason. It was formerly the home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, great-nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte. In addition, within its facilities is the Shang Palace, the only Chinese restaurant in France that has been awarded a Michelin star. Shangri-La Hotel Paris offers virtual tours of the rooms on its website, so you can find out exactly what you’re getting before you book.

“Our stay at the Shangri-La Paris was excellent! They upgraded us to a suite with a beautiful balcony and views of the Eiffel Tower, which added a magical touch to our vacation. The suite was very spacious with very comfortable bedding.”

4. The Peninsula Paris

A stay at The Peninsula Paris is not only luxurious, it is also packed with exclusive benefits. As guests, you have the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes tour of Versailles which includes areas normally closed to the public. Match this glamorous experience by staying in The Peninsula Paris’ Rooftop Garden Suite, a duplex with access to the hotel’s garden terrace, and dining at the two-Michelin-starred L’Oiseau Blanc restaurant. The views of the Eiffel Tower are guaranteed.

“We enjoyed a magical stay here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The suite we stayed in was the most beautiful room I have ever been in, with a wrap around balcony and views of the Eiffel Tower.”

5. Hotel Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel

If you want a view of the Eiffel Tower so close you can almost touch it, then the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel is your best option. It is literally a few steps from the “Iron Lady”. Most of their rooms have views of the Eiffel Tower, either from the bed or from the balcony, so check before you book.

“We spent three nights at Pullman Eiffel and enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was first class and with a view of the Eiffel Tower as promised.”

6. Hotel La Comtesse

The Hotel La Comtesse is famous for precisely what you are looking for. The 40 rooms of this boutique hotel overlook the Eiffel Tower, thanks to its privileged location and the V-shaped structure of the building. The question is, do you want a front view or a side view? For full frontal views, book the Comtesse room or the Royale Junior Suite.

“The team at Hotel La Comtesse offer warm and cheerful service while ensuring that the best services and food are provided. The room is spacious and offers amazing views of the Eiffel Tower.”

7. Hotel Raphaël

The Raphael Hotel offers five-star luxury at the best price. Just two blocks from the Arc de Triomphe, this hotel exudes an old-world charm with its antique furnishings and hand-painted murals. Some of its suites have views of the Eiffel Tower. Many Tripadvisor travelers have described the Hotel Raphael as a hidden gem. You will too.

“I spent a week there in mid-August with my girlfriend in the Eiffel Tower suite. A great hotel. The room was fabulous, the views from the terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower were sublime and the hotel service and staff were excellent. I would definitely stay here again.”

8. Citadines Tour Eiffel Paris

Citadines Tour Eiffel Paris is an aparthotel in the lively Motte-Picquet district. If the concept of “apart hotel” is new to you, it is a fully furnished accommodation with hotel services. This residence has both studios and apartments with views of the Eiffel Tower. It is right next to a Monoprix supermarket and the La Motte-Picquet–Grenelle metro station.

“We stayed at the Citadines Tour Eiffel during a five day visit to Paris. It is right in front of the metro station, you can reach anywhere in Paris in less than 40 minutes. The service was excellent and the studio was very cosy. But what we liked the most were the views from our terrace. The stunning views of the Eiffel Tower reminded us of the beauty of the city.”

9. Hotel Duquesne Eiffel

The Hotel Duquesne Eiffel is well located between the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. All of its premium rooms and some of its superior rooms have the coveted views of the Eiffel Tower. Heed Tripadvisor travelers and ask for room 55. Just like a typical Parisian apartment, the room is on the small side, but the incredible views make up for it.

“Exceptionally clean, excellent location. The room was small but very comfortable. Pay more and get a balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower! The views are phenomenal!”

10. Hotel Gavarni

The Hotel Gavarni is at the end of the street of the Trocadero, where tourists gather to take photos of the Eiffel Tower. Fortunately, you can skip the crowds. Book a Junior Suite at the hotel, but write to reserve one that faces the Eiffel Tower instead of the inner courtyard. For all environmentally conscious travelers, you will be happy to know that the Hotel Gavarni is the first independent hotel in Paris to receive the European Ecolabel.

“We stayed two nights at the hotel. The views from our Eiffel room were incredible. The room was spacious and the hotel charming. We are so glad we found this gem!”

11. Hotel Elysees Union

The three-star Elysees Union hotel does not promote its views of the Eiffel Tower. However, the tower can be seen prominently from the hotel entrance. So leave a message at reception and ask for a room on Amiral Hamelin street. You will have to go out to the balcony for the Instagram photo. Imagine yourself against the backdrop of a Parisian street and the Eiffel Tower rising behind.

“Lovely hotel with views of the Eiffel Tower from many rooms and from the street. Perfectly located between Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower. Very walkable. The rooms are clean and I was surprised by the storage space in a European hotel.”

12. Le Petit Belloy Saint-Germain

Le Petit Belloy Saint-Germain is a fantastic cheap base for exploring Paris. It is within walking distance of the Latin Quarter, where you can find the Pantheon and the Cluny Museum. The rooms are small but comfortable. Request a room on the upper floors to have views of the Eiffel Tower on one side and Notre Dame on the other.

“Le Petit Belloy is a very charming little hotel with excellent staff. The rooms on the upper floors have beautiful views of the rooftops and, in the distance, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame.”
